Downloading CAP Index Score Reports
After logging into CRIMECAST, navigate to the Site Library and
select the sites requested by clicking the Site Name box.
Select the Download Reports button.
Make
selections for data to include in the report.
Note: Users can select more than one release date.
Users can download the report as an Excel spreadsheet, as
a PDF, or as Both.
For the PDF option, Users have the option to customize the PDF
download.
If Users opt to customize the downloaded PDF, they will have
different options for what to include in the spreadsheet. After making these
selections, click the Next button.
The downloaded files will be sent by email within 24
hours.
After receiving the email containing the files, download and
save the files to a desktop.
Excel
The Excel spreadsheet may need manual cleanup once
downloaded. Once opened in Excel, it should look like this:
Once the Excel spreadsheet is downloaded, manual cleanup can
include:
Consider deleting Column P (tags) depending on
the nature of the review.
Keep Column AB (overall CAP Index score for that
year).
Keep Column AF (current robbery score).
Keep Column AJ (current burglary score).
Delete
the remaining columns.
The edited spreadsheet will resemble the below:
PDF
The PDF reports will appear in one PDF document.
