How to Create a CRIMECAST Report for a Single Site

Within the CRIMECAST Platform, you can create a CRIMECAST Report for a single site; create CRIMECAST Reports for multiple sites at the same time; and, upload sites without initially scoring the sites so that the sites are available in the library for use within the platform and to score them at a later time.

Here is how to score and create a CRIMECAST Report for a single site address.

STEP 1 - Click Create Report

To start the process for a new site, you can click on the “Create Report” button from any screen within the platform.  

 STEP 2 - Provide an Address for Your Site

The next step in the process is to provide the address for your site.  There are several options to enter the address… 

Option #1 is to “Search for an Address” using the top search bar and then select your location from the dropdown results.  Once you click on the search result, the site address will populate into the address fields below.

Option #2 is to manually enter your site address into the appropriate fields, and Option #3 is to select your current location.  Also, if necessary, you can manually enter the coordinates or edit the coordinates once the address has been entered. You can do this by clicking on “Manually Enter Coordinates” and entering the latitude and longitude for your site.

STEP 3 – Entering a Site Name

Once you have entered your site address and reviewed the map for accuracy, the next step is to provide a unique Site Name for the location. The Site Name is an important item as it will help to easily identify and locate this site. The Site Name is also printed on the cover of your CRIMECAST Report PDF.

STEP 4 - Optional Notes and Tags

Before proceeding to the next step, you have the option to add notes and/or ‘tags’ to provide details and create identifiers for your site. These notes and tags will make it easy to search for this site and filter or locate other sites with the same identifiers. 

Once you have completed and reviewed the fields on this screen, click the button “Proceed to Select Report” and select your report type.

STEP 5 - Select Your Report Type

The next step is to "Select a Report Type" from our Basic, Premium, or Premium Plus options.  This screen provides a detailed comparison of each report type and tooltips with additional information on each feature. Once you determine the best report for your needs, select your Scoring Methodologies (select 2 for Premium and 4 for Premium Plus report types) or Scoring Methodology (select 1 for Basic report types) and then click the "Select" button to create the report.

If you have credits available in your account, you will be directed to the Site Details page and the CRIMECAST Report will be immediately available in your Site Library.  You will also receive an email with the CRIMECAST Report attached as a PDF.  If you do not have credits, you will be directed to a checkout page to purchase account credits for your CRIMECAST Report.
